Higher Education Research Center of Northwest University

Higher Education Research Center of Northwest University developed from the Higher Education Research Office of Northwest University which was founded in 1984. The office was incorporated into the School of Public Management in 2000, and renamed the Higher Education Research Institute. In June 2011, Northwest University decided to cancel the institute and set up the Higher Education Research Center. This center conducts research in the areas of higher educational administration，higher educational development, educational polices and regulations. It also undertakes the activities of organizing the subject construction, drawing up the school development planning, and promoting the educational evaluation. It uses the same organization with the Higher Education Research and Evaluation Center of Shaanxi Province. The center director also serves as the deputy director of Higher Education Research and Evaluation Center of Shaanxi Province.
